The Miliu Publishing module presents print and digital publications by category, keyword, author, publication date, ISBN, organization etc. Reports and books can be featured on the catalog’s landing page, or searched, sorted, and filtered in a user-friendly listing.
- Publications Catalog – Organize each document or report in a searchable, sortable online catalog. Upload a PDF of the publication or insert a link to the publication and then add a cover image, summary, related documents, links, related people, press releases, photos, etc. The Miliu Publication content type supports BibTex and Qualified Dublin Core meta-data sets.
- Serial Publications – Put a journal online using the Miliu Serial Publication, Issue, and Issue Article content types. Miliu dynamically assembles each issue and makes it easy to incorporate related files and links.
- Multichannel Publications – Hierarchically assemble reference documents, operations manuals, procedure manuals and other “living” or “evolving” documents for dynamic publication to web, printing press (requires custom integration with a document automation solution), and e-reader (also requires a custom document automation solution). Miliu dynamically generates a table of contents and threads together chapters, sections, citations (references), figures, tables, and other components into a single digital document. Each component of the document (Chapter, Section, Subsection) can be enhanced with links to related files, web pages, articles, photos, videos, people etc. Visitors may read the document sequentially or search by individual subsection. When Multichannel Publications are combined with Miliu Social Networking or Communications Modules, visitors may like, dislike, comment on specific sections, and may suggest related files and links of relevance to those sections.
